Interview:The Founder of TableXpress, Bob Manley

Bob Manley successfully led an acquisition team on the purchase and due diligence of the former Will Poultry Company. He identifies areas for improvement and leads multiple new system implementations to streamline operations and improve product offerings and purchasing.

Bob has extensive experience implementing sophisticated processes, recruiting, team-building, managing customers relationships and developing a customer base.

We sat down with him and asked him some questions about the industry.

How did you get started in doing what you do now?

My most recent project was in wholesale distribution in the foodservice industry. This experience gave me the necessary insights to restaurant operations and how my business can improve payment processing, marketing, employee satisfaction and customer service.

Why did you join a startup accelerator?

I joined 2020 Startups to gain access to decision makers and jump-start my business in a new market.

What would you do differently if you were starting in your industry now?

If I were to start this project again, I would have more aggressively partnered with a developer that would build my MVP before fundraising efforts.

What's your next move in your industry?

My next move will be to host an event targeting restaurateurs to share my project and how it will drastically improve their customers experience.

Tell us something interesting we should know about you?

I'm an avid golfer and triathlete, completing my first full distance Ironman last summer in Lake Placid, NY.
